Things seem to be flying by now. I cant wait to meet my new little man and hold him in my arms but at the same time Im terrified of labor and delivery.

I am finishing up the last of his laundry and I'll be packing a bag soon so I dont forget. I washed and sterlized all his bottles this weekend ( boy what a chore). Just need to finish pulling out a fw things for him.

Hows everyone else doing? what do you have left to do ebfore your new baby arrives??

You are far ahead of me. I have ordered my crib, but it is not here yet so I still have to set that up. I have clothes, but that's because I had a lot of good clothes left from my first girls. I have a couple of packages of diapers, but other than that, I'm not ready. The doctor told me today if I went into labor now, they wouldn't even try to stop it! I'm not ready yet, so I have a lot to do. I think I'll be closer in another 2-3 weeks. I think it's still a little hard to believe that I will have a newborn again soon.

My C sect is on Dec 2nd, so I'm just plugging along now. I can't wait to get my body back to my own. The room is finished, the house is almost ready (aside from xmas decorating so we don't have to worry about it later). Having TONS of BH contractions and a few painful ones sporadically. And for some reason, I keep having nerve pain in my legs down the inner thighs, but it's only like a quick zap of lightning rather than ongoing pain. I think baby's head is pressing on some nerves. But I'm really thrilled to have a pregnancy go this far and to know that most likely baby will be born happy and healthy (at least from what I know right now). Yay!

I just washed the diapers and clothes this week so at least I have that done. I also went and bought my black socks and nightgowns for the hospital. I haven't packed my bag yet but I'll probably get to that this weekend and I'll also install the carseat. The crib is still set up from Dax so that's not an issue and there really isn't anything else this baby needs. As long as he has clean clothes and diapers, he'll be set. :)

I have been practicing my Hypnobabies training for labor the last few weeks but really need to get more diligent about that. I haven't been doing it enough but I'm lucky that I have already had one Hypnobabies birth so at least I have some experience.

I would love to have the baby any day but, due to family history and Dax's gestation, I figure I have a little time left. Thankfully, I still feel pretty good. I think I was about 40 weeks with Dax before the exhaustion and soreness really hit. I'm so glad I had twins first so that these singleton pregnancies seem "easy" in comparison (with the exclusion of morning sickness).

Holy Cow!! 40 weeks before exhaustion and soreness hit? Kudos to you!!! My body does not handle pregnancy well at all. With the boys I was unable to walk from the car to the store with out having very sharp pains. DH pushed me in a wheel chair from about 25-28 weeks until the very end. This time around Im able to walk and no wheel chair help needed but I cant walk very fair with out getting very very sharp pains. I have only even been pregnant to 34w5d so I'll be entering a whole new aspect of pregnancy in less then 2 weeks.

39 weeks is as far as I have to go before being induced. So im looking at 6 weeks or less as of yesterday!!!

I had those sharp pains every now and then with Dax but, thankfully, they were few and far between. It was almost always when I'd be moving from a sitting or laying position. They definitely stop you in your tracks though and HURT. I've only had them 1-2 times this time around so I'm very happy about that. I hope yours slow down soon!

While my body definitely doesn't handle carrying two babies very well, I seem to be okay with one. I have now entered the "need a short nap in the afternoon" phase and am about to open my 2nd bottle of Tums but, overall, I'm doing fine. Now, if I could just get the midwife to leave me alone about inductions... <_< I really want to go into labor on my own in the hope that it will go more quickly and smoothly than the last two times around (18 hrs then c-section, 48 hour VBAC).

    Hi ladies!

Getting very worn out, sore, and tired over here. I have an appt tomorrow with the doc so we'll see if I've progressed any - last time I was a fingertip dialated and softening. But I believe I lost my mucus plug so we'll see if I've dialated any more.

Carpal tunnel in the hands and arms SUCKS. I'm sleeping like crap! And the house seems to always be a mess ... but my bag is (mostly) packed, the nursery is set up except for some shelves and the curtains, the PNP is set up in our room ... just cleaning that needs to be done but I have no energy for.
