Our girls are NOTHING alike at all (one brunette, one redhead and as different as night and day). So it surprises me every day that the boys are so alike. I know, they are ID, but I can't get it through my head... :) So I want to see pics of your twins!

    Here's our boys:

And here's a recent overlay - Griffin is on top at 50% opacity...

    Wild, right?

    And here's the girls:

Aww they are so cute. I can't beleive that second picture!

My boys have different hair cuts now so this is a pic of when they looked more alike.

    Cute!

My girls are frat, one with light brown hair, one with dark brown hair. When they have hats or hoods from their jacket on, I can't tell them apart! The other day at the zoo, I got Ella her bottle (she drinks a special formula for spit-up) and got her set up with it. She was sitting right next to her twin sister in a side-by-side stroller.

Then "Ella's" hood came off her head and I realized it was not Ella!

Wow! That's crazy how much they look alike! And your daughters are beautiful!

My boys look NOTHING alike. Somehow, people think they do... Nicholas is about three inches taller and has darker hair. Anthony is shorter, lighter hair, less hair, and quite the head!

Here they are at 7 months old, Nicholas on left, Anthony on right:

And here they are now, at almost three years old:

So cute ladies!! Here are my girlies. I can tell them apart NOW, but the first 6wks or so it was tough. Most other people can't tell them apart still though. They are supposed to be Frats, but we are still not 100% sure.

Mine are about 7-8w in this photo. They're now 12 weeks. Megan is on the left, Lindsey on the right.

    Adorable pictures!!

My guys are definitely fraternal, but I think their profiles are the same. Right now Ethan is 2 pounds bigger, so most people think they look different. Plus Ethan has DH's hairline, while Chase's hairline is more like mine.

But in this picture, I think they really look alike.

Here are my so-called fraternal boys(di/di) at almost 3.5...

    http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/Smiles30/2010/24.jpg

I just say this because I believe they are ID (haven't tested yet)...however, as infants, they looked different due to a difference in head shape, but the older they get, the more they look alike.

Snoopy- I think we determined yours are ID a long time ago! There is no question about that!

I had a di/di preg and we assumed our boys would be frat. They have to be ID. We have not had a DNA test, but don't see the reason to. We as parents cannot tell them apart still at 4 1/2 months. We still have to put blue polish on B's big toe. When I say everything is the same about them I mean everything. They have the same face, same curve to an earlobe, same belly button, personality, smile, laugh and down to the same dimple on their right knee. It is crazy just how ID they are. Here are some pics...
Here is a collage when they were younger

We've never had our girls tested, but I am a firm believer they are ID. My husband is convinced they aren't, but to this day many family members still can not tell them apart. I just love looking at before and now with ID twins!!

Isn't it amazing? They are worth a DNA test right there! LOL We were told they shared a placenta but I wasn't awake for delivery and there was nothing about the placenta in my file when I went for my 6wk check. I've had moments where I said "They are to much alike to NOT be ID" then other moments I was so sure - til that moment in the tub. No doubt.

I am loving reading all these stories and seeing all the pics! Our boys were di/di and we thought our girls were mono/di... until they were born and were SO different that we knew their placentas must have fused super early (they only saw 1 placenta at 11 weeks). Then the boys end up being the ID ones and the girls the frats.

Yeah - I don't think any of you need to waste money on DNA tests. We did at a month because I couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to know for sure without waiting a year.

Kim - if it weren't for the fact we're on such a strict budget with building a house I would have sprung for one too - but now i'm glad I waited. I really don't think we could have any doubt now.

Gigantor - handsome little boys! :)

I LOVED looking at all of the pics. You all have beautiful babies! My girls are obviously fraternal, but it's funny how many people ask me if they are id. I think that they look absolutely nothing alike, but a lot of people tell me they can't tell them apart. I think people look and see twins, but they don't actually LOOK
