Well I thought we could hold out… and maybe we can… but DH is taking the day off to drive out a little further (he works from home so it doesn’t matter where we live) to look at a bigger houses…. My hearts not in it, as I finish remolding and redecorating this house the month I found out I was prego… so my house is “perfect” for me… but w/ two more boys… not so much… and dh keeps saying “they need their own rooms…”
We shall see... i'm not looking forward to it... i almost hope we see nothing even close to what we would like <_< ...

:hug99: Instead of a new house, can you put some of that money toward a renovation to give you more space?

We already are going to take a loss because we put so many upgrades in this house <_< …. Plus I would rather move then live in construction w/ twinfants :shok: … but believe me we have tried to figure out how to stay  ….

That is such a bummer!! Maybe you will find something that you fall in love with more than your current house!! :hug99:

Did you get your house evaluated? With so many upgrades, you might be surprised to get more than you expect for it.

I know the feeling though. Our house is small, and most of all, only has one bathroom. We'd love to move, but we can't afford it sadly.

We dont have enough room either. We have 3 bed/2 bath house. The twins share a room and older 2 ds share a room. We are considering making our dining room(which we are currently using for our office) one of the kids room. We also have a huge attic that could be made into two more rooms. We cannot afford to sale our house either the way the housing market is.

I would LOVE a bigger house but right now we can't afford it. We live in a 3 br, 3 bath house but every room is small and no basement so very little storage and play area. We are hoping to get a lot of our debt paid off in the next 2 years so that we can afford a bigger house. I just want to move before the girls start kindergarten.

We too would love to get a bigger house, but unfortunately with me not working we don't want to up our house payment any. Our house is 1900 sq. ft. and 5 of us living in it. We have a split foyer with the garage underneath so NOOOOOO storage. Hopefully we will also find something that meets our needs. GL!

Well it was a bust… we saw nothing worth moving over… but will keep the lines of communication open w/ realtor in case something pops up… we want a new community but we don’t want to hump our neighbors… and I think I just love my current house so much (except for its lack of bedrooms) that it will take a lot to get me to move….

we need a bigger home as well. We sold our home and moved when I was 30 weeks pregnant with the twins, we are renting for the moment while we build a 5 bedroom home. I tell you the hardest thing I have ever done was move being that big and heavy, wasn't fun at all. Our home should hopefully be finished by Mid April next year. We couldn't find anything we wanted so that is why we are building. The 4 kids rooms all join up to a toy room. It has 2 lounge rooms, one will be the computer/gaming room. So it is perfect for us. I will never move again after I move into this home. Good luck with your house hunting I hope you find something perfect soon.
