I've been here for a week and will be here for the rest of my pregnancy. My cervix is short, and they want to keep an eye on the babies. Both are doing well, and the TTTS is still Stage 1 and not progressing, thankfully. I'm not sure if bedrest at home was easier or harder. I have less anxiety here and am being taken good care of. I miss my other kids, but all in time. . .

I was hospitalized a couple of times, and I remember feeling almost a sense of relief, because they were monitoring me and the babies and there wasn't as much pressure on me! Hang in there. :hug99:

Emily, I know exactly how you feel. I was in the hospital after Emilie was born and I was told I was staying until Trevor was born whether that was 1 day or 3 months. And I was not allowed to get out of bed for anything. <_< Hang in there I know it is hard. :hug99: I was okay until one day my oldest DD at home called me up crying and said "Mommy I need you" and from then on out I just cried about everything, it was so hard to be there. But at the same time I knew it was the best place for me to be.

    Emily,

I know how you feel! I've been in the hospital for the last 10 days, after 5 weeks of home bedrest. I saw my girls for the first time in a week last Sunday. On the one hand, it's been hard to be away from the family and my hubby. But, on the other, it's been such a relief to be here getting monitored regularly. I actually stablized when I got here. I think so much of it was relief and knowing that I was in such a safe place for the babies.

Just think, we're almost there! You're doing a great job and have a wonderful attitude as well!

Hospital bedrest is hard but best for the babies. I spent 5 days there before being released home to bedrest. What a difference! In the hospital I was being fed well and regularly and really taking it easy. Since I've been home, DH is like it's back to normal time and the kids are always asking me to do things for them. Ahhhhh! Then I caught my son's cold. Now I am sick on top of everything else. Kinda wishing I was back in the hospital.
