So when do you get the hospital bag ready?? I know I have time (I hope!), but just curious, as I didn't get mine ready with my first singleton till the very very end.

I still don't have my bag ready! That's actually on my to do list today. I wasn't too worried about it, because I figured I would have plenty of time to do it when labor started, but after reading the sticky here on what to bring, I thought would never remember everything, and I have to have my DD's stuff packed too. I would pack all but the stuff you use daily, early, and then make a list of everything that you'll have to pack at the last minute, so you don't forget anything when the time comes.

I packed my bag around 34 weeks because I was home and bored. :pardon: I think, like the pp said, pack the really important things sooner then later and anything else that you might need you can always have your husband or another family member, go get for you. :good:

I packed mine about two weeks ago (i was about 30 weeks). I just wanted to make sure i had everything. That and the fact i'm on bedrest and bored. At least its done. it actually turned out to be a biger project than expected, but i'm anal about having all of my things. Good luck!

Pack it up ASAP and throw it in the car for every doctor's appt. You never know when you might go in and never come home (for months!). LOL

In all seriousness, at least have a clear idea of what you would want. I had to make lists for DH to come home and hunt for my "brown pj pants with the elastic waist and place for the drawstring, but the drawstring is missing" and he brought me back brown linen capri pants...4 times. It's easier if you just have it all together and cut out any confusion. DH ended up going to Target and buying me all new panties and PJ pants because he couldn't find the ones I wanted at home. :rotflmbo:

:rotflmbo: I had my bag packed with my singleton at week 25 and that was because I forced myself to wait until then. So, I was joking with my DH the other day telling him I should probably go get my bag packed!! :rotflmbo:

I am just weird that way. I would say by 28 weeks it should be something you have at least started. And like PP said, once it is packed you might as well put it in the car b4 every appointment.

 I'm the same as pp. My bags have BEEN packed! I think around wk 22 (just after my first day long stay in the hospital). I'm tellin' you, these multiple pregnancies are unpredictable. Better safe than sorry...

Pack it now!! I didn't have a bag and had to tell my mom what to get. All I really wanted from home was my pillows and a blanket (and my computer!) I have an obsession with socks so I already them in my purse!!

I finally allowed myself to pack it at 34 weeks - the earliest I felt ok about the babies arriving. I was afraid packing it sooner would jinx them into coming too early. I was so paranoid about preterm labor my entire pregnancy. Mainly because of a previous early m/c and we went through a lot to get these 2. Not to mention my SIL delivered twins at 23.5 weeks and lost one. I was afraid of something going wrong every day of my pregnancy, until I got to 34 weeks. Then I finally started letting myself believe it was real.

Of course, because of my distorted thinking, I didn't really get to enjoy my pregnancy and I felt rushed at the end getting everything ready. So, unless you're superstitious like I was, there's no harm in doing it soon - or at least making a list of what you would want to pack so it would be easy to do last minute.

I started packing mine last week, because I had a hospital scare with contractions. I don't want to be stuck in the hospital without anything o mine again.
