You know that feeling you get when you have over-commited yourself? Like when you told someone you will be there at 12.30 and then you remember some other appointment that you have to be at at 1.00, and it takes 15 mins to get between them. You dont want to miss either or let anybody down so you stress yourself out and get frustrated trying to do the impossible.

Thats what every day feels like with the twins......

    and i'm just so tired

Needed to get that out, thanks for reading

I remember those first months with twins. My blood pressure skyrocketed and I was sooooo stressed. Just hang in there. Soon the 3 of you will get in a groove and things will seem a lot easier. Do you have anything you can do for stress management? Like scream into a pillow?

Oh gosh yes! In the early days, I kept thinking, "If my body could grow two babies, why the **** couldn't it grow a second pair of arms to take care of them???!!!"

Hang in there, and vent away! :hug99:

To the OP: Oh I know that feeling well and even now at 10+ months I have to remind myself to just enjoy the moment because my mind is constantly going to the next thing I need to do. Dh and I actually talked about this last night. When things get like this for me, I really need to take a break.. even if its for an hour or so. See if someone can watch the kiddos and if you can't leave the house then go in another room, turn up some music, have a cup of tea and read a magazine or something. GL and hang in there!!! Oh and screaming in pillows works great too!

I know exactly what you mean. The first few months with my twins was SO stressful. I was even put in the hospital for 3 days on IV's for fluids. I was SO exhausted. Those 3 days that I was in the hospital I did nothing but SLEEP the entire time.

    Hang in there... :hug99:
