Horrible day!

It's raining here today. We were supposd to go to the pick-you-own pumpkin thing with our Mom's Club, but I decided against it due to the rain. Some were still going, but the girls hate getting dirty and would have been freaking out the whole time. So, instead we were going to the library. Well, it took an hour to get their shoes on and go. We had the circular argument of you need to put shoes on to go, but then refusing to put shoes on, me saying well then we're not going anywhere, then demanding to go to the library, but refusing shoes. Repeat 1000 times. They have been whining and crying about everything. Figting over everything, driving me crazy!! Oh, and did I mention our TV blew up yesterday? It has no picture, it just died. And it's still raining!

 

Ughhhh I hate days like that. I hope tomorrow is better!

OH gosh. I know what you mean. sometimes I just put them in the car seat and go and have the shoes in my purse or diaper bag. then when we are at the destination, and they are still strapped in their carseat, i get the shoes on or the hair done or whatever it is that's missing. hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

 

Kelly, I feel your pain. I was trying to get them out to go to the playground before lunch and nap. They ran away, chose to play with toys, jump on my bed and so we didn't go. It was beautiful out today. I did get them to get dressed and go later on, but it was chillier out and started to get dark 45 minutes after we got there. Their loss.

 

Thankfully today was 100 times better. Sometimes there are just those days where doing the every day things like meals, going to the car, are a struggle. Those days make me want to get in bed and hide!
