Horrible cold

Of course it has to be a Saturday when I get sick. I am coughing horribly and my chest hurts. I feel like I cannot breathe. What can I take?????? Is there anything safe????

Congrats on 28 weeks....that's awesome! Sorry to hear about the cold! Knock on wood, I haven't been sick this entire pregnancy, but I think sudafed is ok...check out this website. I hope you feel better soon.

Robitussin cough syrup (no letters after it, just plain)

 

I had a horrible cold in January. I was crying I felt so sick. My dr said I could take sudafed but not sudafed PE, justthe plain sudafed. I also took tylenol every 4-6 hours and robitussin. I felt like such a druggie taking so much medicine while pregnant but it helped. I hope you the meds help and you get better soon.

Wanted to update. I am worse. I have a fever and have been puking even Tylenol up. I sent the kids to my parents and I am laying around. My OB did call in an antibiotic but I am having trouble keeping anything down. I hope tommorrow is better.

 

So sorry to hear you are so sick...happy to hear you are getting a welll deserved break (all be it not a fun one!!!) Get some sleep!!!!!!

Well, things are not getting any better. E&E ended up with the stomach bug at my parents. I was in the ER last night and have low potassium. Now dh is getting the congestion crud. Ethan is still with a fever.
