I'm still in shock...they both slept 9 hours straight last night!! :yahoo: I didn't expect that this early! Do you think that's ok? Are they too young to go that long? They slept from 8 until 10:30, nursed til 11, then went to sleep relatively fuss-free and stayed asleep until ds started fussing at 8. I went in to get him and dd was smiling away in her crib, too. We haven't done any sleep training other than setting up as close as we can get to a routine so I guess we just got blessed with sleepy babies. Does it seem ok to you that they are going that long at just under 4 months? I'm just so amazed...and well-rested...and thankfully no longer as engorged as I was when I woke up this morning - ouch!

That is awesome!! Has your pediatrician said anything as to why they wouldn't be able to sleep for that long? If not, then I am sure it is fine. Isn't it amazing what a little sleep can do for you!! I hope it continues!! :clapping:

I'm so jealous  :D   Seriously though WTG mama, I'll bet if they're sleeping that long it means they're getting plenty during the day.  My DS started sleeping 6-7 hr stretches a few weeks ago and he eats much more frequently during the day, but seems so much happier because he's better rested.  Now if only DD would get with the program

That's great...I'm so jealous. Mine are 5 months old and each one has slept for 7 hours one time (and it wasn't the same day). This is great news for you--enjoy the rest!!

Oh yeah, that's okay. Hooray for sleepy babies! I hope that keeps up for you! By 3 months ours were going close 10-11 hours and like you, we did not have to do sleep training (naps was and still are another story). Enjoy the sleep mama!!!
