Yay for sleep! I'm so happy for you. The last week has been good in our house for sleep too. Can't beat a good night's rest.

Oh, what a relief, both for the babies' tummies and your SLEEP! Sounds like the Nutramigen is worth every penny. :)

I understand what you mean. At 6 weeks my daughter went on Nutramigen and within 6 hours she was a different baby. A couple of suggestions to help defer the cost (even though it is worth every penny to have a happier baby). Talk to you ped. At their 3 month check up I asked when he thought we could switch her off of the Nutramigen since it was so expensive. About 3 days later I received about 15-20 $5 off checks from Enfamil with a note saying our ped had contacted them about the cost of Nutramigen and hoped this helped. We also called Enfamil direct and they sent us some free samples and some additional coupons.

Good Luck. Also Good Luck in the play offs. I saw your comment about watching the Packer game. We live in Detroit and it will be a long time before we see the lions in the playoffs, so I like to root for teams from our conference!

I still remember when the girls had their first Nutramigen bottles. They were three months old and slept through the night. I called it "liquid gold". It was so expensive but well worth it. They are both allergic to dairy and have a soy intolerance. Nutramigen is made from corn so that is why it worked so well. When they turned a year old, I started them on cheese and yogurt and they quit sleeping through the night and wanted fed every couple of hours. I later found out they were severely allergic to dairy products. I know your babies are still really young but be careful when you start solid foods. They girls couldn't tolerate peas or green beans because of the soy intolerance.

By the way, Babies R Us had the best prices for Nutramigen in Iowa so you might want to check out their prices. We were also able to get free samples through the doctor.

Nutramagen is the only thing my DD can eat with out screaming... I dont know if she has a soy intolerance since we never tried soy, but it works wonders... YAY happy babies!
I dont know if you have medical or WIC, But i know wic will cover costs and medical will cover it like a perscription..

I agree with PP. Contact Enfamil and ask for coupons..
