So I came across the name Camden for a boy in a baby name book and I can't seem to get it out of my mind. I love the fact that I do not know a single Camden (and I was a Preschool Director for 5 years!) but it's a normal enough name and could possibly be shortened to Cam for fun. I'm thinking Camden Robert...

I like it. Do you know both genders?

The genders are going to be a surprise. We know they are fraternal though. The names we are thinking of for girls are Emma, Haley, or something else (I'm reading through the baby name book and am still on boys names) The other boy name I like is Landon, but I don't think I would put Camden and Landon together...too rhyme-y...

I like Landon also and I do like twins starting/ending with same letters, but I do agree. I think Camdon & Landon may be too rhymee. But then again, were have two boys & MAY be naming them Jayden & Jordan which are similar. DH wants that. I do like the 2 names but our other sons name starts with a "J' also & I have mixed emotions about have 3 "J"'s. But to each is own. We have know their genders for over 4 months now and still cant decide or agree on name. Its harder then I thought and for me personally, boys names are harder.

I like Camden I'm just not too keen on Robert with it. Calista would be a cute girls name to go with it

I think Camden and Landon are both great names, but personally wouldn't use both for b/b twins, too much of a tongue twister.

So as much as I have tried convincing my husband, he seems to keep poo-pooing the name Camden. Our short list is now: Landon, Liam, or Cooper...No girls names yet though :) At least we still have a while

The name Camden is lovely! I'd add it to my list of names, but I already told my husband he could pick out our b/g names, so now we have Charlie and Sarah, which I absolutely adore! It was weird, before we knew both sexes he had a whole bunch of choices floating around for boys, but as soon as we found out, he decided on Charles! At least you have a while to figure out your choices, seeing as we are 2 days apart! We were too impatient to wait any longer, lol
