My 2nd set of 24 urine protein results actually went down. First was 396, 2nd was 297 so they let me go home to modified bedrest. I am soooo thankful to be home but it's nerve wracking being in charge of my own monitoring now. I've got my own home BP monitor. My BP is about the same as it was in the hospital. I am worried about my heart rate though. It's quite high, 100-120 bpm. I have a NST on Friday. One baby has been quieter it seems. This afternoon I ate candy and played music pointed right at my belly to get her moving reassuringly. I'm trying to stay as still as possible. DH isn't really up to this task. He doesn't get that I shouldn't be fixing my own plate of dinner, etc. It bugs me that I have to remind him to make dinner in the first place. Duh!

We have a sitter coming in the mornings to do laundry and get the kids off to school etc. I miss my privacy but I KNOW that I need the help.

They say with the Pre-e that I won't go past 36 weeks. That's only 3 weeks from now! Oh my goodness.

You can do it! I had to have a sit down with my dh when I came home on bedrest. He just didn't "get it" that I wasn't supposed to get up and move unless I absolutely had to. Once we had the "talk" he was much better about taking the initiative to offer me things knowing I couldn't do it myself. Only three weeks and your precious babies can make their arrival. Enjoy the rest and the help you will be super tired soon enough :) Good luck and keep us updated!

We also had to sit down and discuss it. They just don't understand. And its really really hard to not do it yourself and to rely on DH to do everything, but you have to do it. Its only 3 more weeks (which believe me I know is a LONG time especially when its you)! I know you can do it.
As for your heart rate, I'm on terbutaline for contractions and they have me check my pulse pretty much every time I take the medications. They say as long as your heart rate is under 120 you're ok. So I don't know if it applies to you also, but the 120 was the ok cutoff point.

Thanks! Heart rate has been better today. My BP too. I see my OB tomorrow for an NST. That will make me feel more relaxed over the weekend. I can't help but worry that they will find something and send me back to the hospital. I will have my bag packed and in the car just in case. My kids keep asking when the babies will come. Ummmmm anytime? We just don't know. It's hard to feel like a ticking time bomb.

Wow, thats awesome that your protein went down enough for you to go home. I never could manage to do that. I hope you get some rest and have a great NST tomorrow.

I had a checkup today at the OB's and a NST. The babies look great although they are a pain to monitor since they wiggle so much it takes forever just to get a 15 min. strip. They asked if I wanted to schedule my c-section? Ahhhhhhh! I guess so. They did a quick scan and thought that Baby B might have turned head down and pushed her sister's feet out of the way. The nurse moved me to the bigger scan machine and no luck, still transverse and Baby A breech. Damn.

Then the OB dropped the bomb on me. I'll have a growth scan on May 12th. If Baby A is still a lot smaller than Baby B I will have a c/s the next day! If my BP rises, I'll have a c/s that next day too! I'll be one day short of 35 weeks. That is in 11 days!!!! OMG Call me superstitious but I don't want them born on the 13th. I'm gonna push for the 14th if I can. If Baby A has caught up to her sister and my BP stays the same, I'll have a c/s at 36 weeks but they didn't seem to think that would happen.

I was sooooo nervous going in there today. I had all my bags packed just in case they sent me back to the hospital. I feel like I am on parole. LOL

I was up in the nursery tonight trying to bite my tongue with DH. The light switch and outlet covers are still off. The blinds haven't been put up, the curtains aren't hung, there is no hanging rod or shelves in the closet because we repainted in there. I can't put anything away. The rocker is still in the garage. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
