Went into L&D to get monitored b/c I had not felt Dillon(baby B) move for over 12 hours and Lucas(baby A) had only moved a little. They are usually both very active.

They hooked me up to the monitors to try to find the babies heartbeats....not easy. She could tell they were moving around, so it was making it hard. After some time, found both heart beats :) I couldn't see the screen but my husband said Dillon(who I was worried about ) had a rate around 160, Lucas was about 155. The ob doc who was on call was in surgery so we had to wait some time for him, which was fine. Wasn't in a rush, the longer I laid there, the longer I got to listen to them. When he did get in he did a quick u/s, maybe two minutes, just to verify we could see both heartbeats and of course we could. It was great to get a quick peak at them. After about twenty minutes of the nurse trying to find the heartbeats, pushing down on my tummy, Dillon did start to kick. Pretty sure we made him mad lol But that is fine. It was a relief to feel him moving after so many hours of not feeling him. Everyone was really sweet, didn't make me feel ike an idiot for coming in and told me to come in any time I need to. So now very exhausted, from just being am emotional wreck today over worry, my stomach is killing me from it being pushed on so much. But I am happy to know both boys seem to be doing fine.

What good news...that is so scary. I am glad that your babies are doing well. And yes don't worry about becoming a frequent flyer at the L & D...it is no big deal! just think of getting twice as many trips there since we are carrying two babies!

Keep us posted...and keep doing what you are doing Momma!

Yeah I will go in when ever I feel it is need, better to be safe than sorry :)

It was scary. I am so use to them being active. They normally now keep me awake at night b/c they move so much, but last night and this morning, nothing...freaked me out.

I remember going in with my singleton for the exact reason… no movement… well I get to the hospital, lay on the table… and he started moving sooo much my husband saw it for the first time (it looked like something out of the alien movie)… I felt so silly, but the nurses were like… it happens all the time… I’ve done it myself… and its better to come in then it be to late… and I couldn’t agree more… I’m glad everything worked out… and you got to love those sneak peeks

I think being pregnant is one of the scariest times! I thought that my 4th pregnancy would be a breeze -after all I had done it 3 other times right! WRONG!! I worried if they didn't move , I worried if they did move, I worried in the morning, evening AND afternoon! If I could have gotten paid to worry - I would have all the money in the world! and I had a relatively easy pregnancy! so I agree go to L&D as needed! your peace of mind is priceless! and treasure those sweet kicks! I know it doesn't seemlike it now, but those precious boys will be here before you know it!!

I have been worrying all day b/c I have had no braxton hicks today...since I have them everyday, I worried something was wrong for not getting them lol Oh I know before I know they will be here and I will miss being pregnant. Seems we always want to rush to the next stage.

I would have done the EXACT same thing, I promise you. And those nurses are frankly there to be helpful, and it sounds like they reminded you of just that. Glad to hear all is well, and know that you did the right thing!

Much more relaxed today knowing they are ok. The quick u/s was great, but strange how it was not as good of a quality as my ob has in his office lol

Yes, they were very helpful. Keeping fingers crossed that I get to deliver there since I know everyone is so nice.
