Home and Healthy

    Well, we're all home and healthy. Kayleigh and Rhys were born Feb 19 at 3:29 and 3:31pm at 35 wks and 5 days. They never went into the NICU and only needed a warmer after their sponge bath. I spent 3 days in the hospital then we all came home. I wish that I could have brought the night time nursery with me! :)
    I had a scheduled c-section. They came and wheeled me to the OR on my hospital bed. The anasthesiologist (sp?) couldn't get the spinal in and it hurt soooooooooooooooooo bad. Finally he did an epidural. Then they numbed me all the way to my chest, let my husband in the room and started the surgery. I was so freaked. The staff was all behind me talking about my respiration and how low my BP was. Oh well, everything ended up fine.
    Now I just need to get off of this every 3 hr feeding schedule so I can get some sleep! Both babies are back up to their birth weights so that should be soon! :)

    Congratulations and great job! Welcome to your new little ones. Glad to hear all went well and everyone is settling in well at home.
