So, we went for our four month visit today and the kids are doing great!! I knew they were, but what I was really interested in was how much they were weighing. Based on their two month visit (DD was around 9 lbs and DS was around 12 lbs...can't really remember and don't feel like looking it up) I figured they would weigh about 12 and 15 lbs respectively.

    Drum Roll............

DD weighs in at 12 lbs 3oz and 23 7/8 inches
DS weighs in at 16 lbs 6oz and 24 1/4 inches

That's a 4 POUND difference!! At four months!!
Good grief...no wonder my back has been killing me!!
I've got to stop carrying them together ;)

Also, since they were getting shots I nursed both of them for a bit to relax them and it was so much fun showing off my tandem nursing skills for the doc and nurses! They were super impressed! Makes me feel like superwoman! :D

I forgot to mention they were only 2 oz different at birth and at two months were 2 1/4 lb different

K&K's weight difference has always continued to increase. At their 4 month appointment K&K were 12 pounds and 17 pounds. Their most recent check up was at 5 years, they were close to 30 pounds different!

Keep up the great work Momma!

Yes my sister and I agree boys are born with rocks in their behinds or something :D
My nephew is 2 mo younger than DD but was always the same weight and now MY DS is about 2 1/2 # heavier than his baby sister. I can't wait until their 4mo to see how much more he weighs than her.
