I am hearing you LOUD AND CLEAR..... the way I try and suggest it to people is that it feels like someone has grabbed a sledgehammer and smashed it ever so hard between my legs - it hurts and aches so much. I didn't feel this amount of pressure and pain with my 2 boys til at least 36 weeks - this has been on going now since about 18 weeks..... OUCH...... . Hope it eases up for you soon if you are able to put your feet up more often.

I have this at times. I have also had the contractions in the middle of the night, as long as you don't get too many in an hour you are fine. I would talk to your dr. though and see what his guidelines are. It stinks, but it is part of the deal, that is what my dr. said. Good luck and enjoy your time off work, you will be so glad you had it.

I called the evil crotch pain, as many of us do that have experienced it! I had a lot of pain with my last 2 pregnancies with my pelvic floor just not holding everything UP as much as it should have. Also, those stabbing pains...they felt like fingernails on my cervix! OUCH!

Listen to your body though, if you are in pain/having bh's(which can change your cervix), then it's time to rest. :hug99:

yea i think im gonna cut back on hours and see if i feel better. ive been working 40hrs, on feet for a full 8. sometimes i get off work at 11pm, and have to be back in at 7am. so nice of them isnt it? i think i'll tell management i can work 6 hour shifts every other day. only 24hours a week but its better than nothing. i feel a lil better knowing the pains are "normal" lol

Get into a hands and knees position, then rock your pelvis in and out. Or, back sag, back arch .
This will help! It's the only thing getting me through.

Lucky for me I've only had the evil pain here and there...and contractions are contractions, the BH ones don't cause your cervix to change, and the real ones do, but you really can't always distinguish them. Most Drs will tell you to call or come in if you have so many in an hour, but generally if you have several and they subside with water and rest, you're okay, that's not real labor. Your work schedule sounds intense. I went part time around 24 weeks and stopped working at 29, and I'm so glad I did. I feel like it's part of the reason I've been able to stay pregnant so long, who really knows, but I needed to do it for me for peace of mine.
