HOLY COW!

This little one have been kicking me so hard it hurts. I was sitting on the couch tonight watching TV and he was going NUTS!! I finally told Dh I had to get up b/c he was hurting me so much. I got to the edge of the couch to get up and he kicked me so hard I jumped. Dh thought it was pretty funny. I told him at least if it was from the outside I could see it coming but with my little man here I have no idea when hes going to haul off and kick or punch me.

The kicks that are hurting me are down really really almost feels like hes kicking my cervix or something.

Anyone else have a future soccer player on their hands?

 

My little one is kicking a lot, but not as hard as that...yet. She is breech right now so t feels really weird to have such strong kicks on that end.
Is your baby breech?

 

Yeah, I remember with my twin pregnancy I swore my son was a boxer and dd a soccer player. Evan wasn't so bad! I miss those baby kicks.. mine never hurt.

I ahve no idea how this little one is laying. I have not had an u/s since 18 weeks. I'm told I'll have another one in a few weeks. Very different from having them weekly with the twins

 

I had that with baby B (Ashley) the 1st time around. She was such a hard kicker that Baby A (Alyssa) came out in a "bowling ball" shape according to my DR... she was all balled up and trying to get as far away as possible from her sister!! LOL She hurt me i am sure she hurt the other baby! This time my Baby B is once again very active (as seen on u/s) but I started to feel the slightest flutters day before yesterday (caught me off guard twice that day, none since... but I am sure it was fetal movement) and it was Baby A's side of the tummy, so we will see which one is the crazy baby this time... yikes, maybe both!!

 

Dax was a kicker but this one is more of a wiggler. She's a lot like Sierra was with tons of stretching and squirming. I am definitely not a fan of the "low" kicks though so I hope your little one moves and cuts that out soon! :wacko:

 

I definitely miss the very frequent u/s I had with twins. I had the last one at 18 weeks and was told she is a girl. I feel like I need to see again before I can commit to buying pink. I think it'll be at least a month though.

 

My twins never kicked that hard, I think they were too smushed in there. But, Olivia, OMG, she HURT!!! She had her feet poking right below my ribs on teh left side and her foot was constantly out the side of my stomach. I would have to counter-pressure from the outside or it was really, really sore. She would always do it while I was standing and working at BRU and sometimes I would about double over before I could get her foot pushed back in.

 

DH's cousin and his wife just had a baby this week. I totally thought of this thread when I heard their story. She was not due until Christmas Day but Momma was having contractions... anyway about 2 wks ago she kicked so hard she CRACKED A RIB!! I never heard of that but I guess this also was one of the deciding factors in delivering a month early!!

 

I had an appt yesterday and I told my OB that hes kicking me so hard it hurts.. Well come to find out either he moved or hes been hitting me that hard with his hards b/c he is head down already.

So rather then a soccer player I have a boxer on my hands...
