My twins are 6 months, and I still have full time help during the day. They get up maybe once and night but, I want to do it on my own. Anyone have pointers fotr bottle feeders?

My girls wouldn't hold their own bottles until 10 or 11 months old. You could try podee bottles.

Mine just started to show interest. I've been putting them in their car seats [and kind of tilt them back a little] and let them work it out. If they start sucking air I'll help them out [don't want them to vomit everytime]. Once they start burping better on their own I'll let them full on work it out on their own. Also, I'm going to start with sippy cups this week. Their only issue is not knowing that they have to tip it back.

Mine get up once at night also and I feed them by bottle.

Mine didn't hold them by themselves consistently until about 10 months old. I think they could do it, but just liked having us do it ;)

Jonathan started at about 7 months, I would lie him in a boppy, and he would hold the bottle. Marcus around 10 months.

Mine started holding their own bottles around 4-5 months, they did not perfect the technique until 6 months, when DD decided she would attempt to do so with her feet. Babies get this kind of stuff at their own rate.

I would say between 8 and 9 months they started holding them. I feed them in bouncy seats and propped their bottles with receiving blankets. They practiced holding it for a while before they got the hang of it.

Mine didnt get it until the end of the 9th month, just in time to start dropping bottles.

Mine are showing interest in holding their bottle but havent perfected it yet. Im not sure but the last part of your question sounded like you were asking how to feed both of them at the same time?? I feed mine together in their boppies.

Morgan started holding her bottle at 7 months, Hunter just started a few weeks ago - both 9 mos today. But like leighann's twins, Hunter likes having us hold it so he'll let go if we go near him....so we just prop them up on the boppy and let them be.

Mine just started... at 12 months. DD drinks while standing or sitting, DS still hasn't figured out how to tilt the bottle so needs to be lying down... So we still hold him so he's not totally flat... until he figures out sippies.

Mine were holding their bottles at 5 months. I would just keep practicing, putting their hands back up where they need to be, and they will eventually get the hang of it! Also, if they are hungry, the bottle falls, they realize you aren't going to hold it for them constantly, they will start to hold it themselves!
