Yep, me too. Then sometimes, my leg falls asleep too - oh well. Each day is another day inside, not in the NICU, right?

Not only the hips, but the back too. I remind myself it's worth it.

Oh I remember the pain! While you are laying on your side, try propping your belly up with a pillow, and then put one behind your back also, so you are laying a little on your back and a little on your side, with the pillows supporting your belly and back.....does that make any sense?? It will help take some of the pressure off of your hips! OUCH! :hug99:

And the tail bone too? I could never figure that one out, since I was NEVER sitting and always lying down.

A pillow between your knees can help with hips too!

Oh, I have that pain!!!! And when I get up both of my hips will "pop" after I move - feels quite good actually. I was just looking at the calendar and and thinking "oh how much longer!!!!! "

I don't think my hips, lower back and tailbone will ever be the same! Despite pillows, I'm still in a lot of pain. Oh well, the boys need to keep baking.

That's one of my biggest pain. It only started for me week 28 and now that I'm on bedrest, the hip pain is more constant. I also have pain right at the upper most top of my thigh... Like right where that crease is. I think that one is from the heavy pressure of my tummy!

I made myself a pillow nest. The thing that helped was to have a squishy comforter under my tummy (pillows were too hard ) and to lay back so I was balanced on a butt-cheek (sorry, couldn't think of a better word!) It counts as laying on your side and it takes some pressure off the old hips.

Jenny- like being propped at a 45 degree angle? I kinda found that a refreshing position. :)
