Your joints do loosen with pregnancy and all the extra weight on them it is not uncommon. Another joyous sideffect.

I've been having terrible hip pain when I wake up in the mornings. Sometimes it lasts all day. I've tried using pillows, one above my hips and one below so I sort of bridge the two. It helps a little, but I usually roll off of them during the night. My OB said not much can be done.

I had this. It's really painful (like you needed me to tell you that!). Going to he chiropractor helped as did pregnancy massage and baths. The chiropractor taught me some home exercises to do as well that helped between appointments.

The chiropractor has really helped with my hip and sciatica pain; this is my 3rd pg using a chiropractor. We also have a memory foam mattress topper on our bed. I noticed a HUGE difference when I slept (or didn't sleep!) on a bed without one; I kept waking up with my hip hurting. My sister's OB recommended her wearing a maternity belt around her hips to bed. She said that was too uncomfortable but has been wearing one during the day and it has helped (she is 37 weeks pg with singleton)

I've been having a lot of pain in my hips at night - I figure it's the extra pressure from sleeping on my side.

I have this all night long. I wake up with hip pain that shoots down whatever leg I happen to be laying on. I have to flip at least 5 or 6 times a night.

I had this too. It helped to sleep in a recliner so I didn't have to put all the pressure on one hip laying on my side.

I have had hip pain for the last 2 months and also go to a chiropractor, That helps a lot! The Perinatal Doc's said I could take Tylenol PM when going to bed and I do get relief with that too. It still sucks but atleast we are all in the same boat with an end in sight. :)
