    <_<

So I have noticed the last couple of weeks that at night my right hip hurts so so bad when I sleep. It seems the only relief I get is if I lay flat on my back which I know really isn't the greatest idea.
I am 17 1/2 weeks in and it just seems early for this to happen - any suggestions??

That's about when mine started too. Try lying on one side and massaging your other hip, then flip. I've also taken to warm baths at night to help relax my hips and legs. Other than that, Tylenol! Not to be Debbie Downer, but give it a few weeks and your ribs will hurt worse than your hips and you'll forget about that pain, moving on to the next. The bright side is that there is an end in sight! :clapping:

I'm 16 weeks and have the same thing. It hurts so much! I got a snoogle pillow though and it's much better now, though still not completely comfortable.

I started with this pain around 6 months along. It is still plagueing me to this day. UGH!
I think a chiropractor may help.

Same story here. Around 3-4 months it started. It has only gotten worse for me. I broke down and ordered a special pad for the bed. I hope it comes soon and works as well as it promises!

My hips are already getting sore too. Ugghh! I feel like I'm 7 months preg, not 3.5 months. It helps me quite a bit to wedge a pillow under my belly to support it from pulling on my hips so much. It's okay to sleep on your back as long as you aren't flat, so if you have a few pillows you can prop yourself up at a an angle. That helps me too. It doesn't completely make it go away, but it definitely helps.

I used to prop myself on my back from time to time to relieve the back pain, but now it makes me dizzy and I can't hardly breath. Obviously, being on your back for a little bit is OK because they always make us do that at ultrasounds, but I would ask my doctor about sleeping that way. I've woken up on my back a few mornings and freaked myself out, but all is well.

    Good luck with the pain!

i felt a little better when i started sleeping with pillows in between my legs. by the end of my pregnancy i was surrounded by pillows AND my pregnancy pillow! (dh was squeezed out of bed and had to sleep on the sofa during that time teehee)

I also have some trouble with my hips. I have found that stretching before bed really helps.

My right hip started hurting at 13 weeks. Also I've developed some painful sciatica.

    Stretching has really helped.
