We know that getting through the first year can be a challenge, and sometimes it feels like even the smallest things mean the world to us. So share you victories today, small or big! "Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So... get on your way."- Dr. Seuss
My small victory for today is neither of my LO's are running a fever or throwing up after their 6 mo vaccinations yesterday!! And both are acting normal....so far. ardon:
My BIGGEST victory today is that I have been breastfeeding the boys for ONE year today! Never thought it would happen!

I am making through a full days work without crying! Actually happy to be at work, but miss the boys...I feel 'almost' balanced! great thread choice! I love these positive threads!!!
Well, I'm getting through today after spending most of the night in the ER with one of the boys who had a 103 fever. I'm getting through today after being vomited on first thing in the morning. I'm getting through today after hearing of the even more terribly tragic events that are happening to my poor sister who has 2 jobs to support her 4 children and dying husband. I'm getting through today after seeing my other boy (not the feverish one) flip out of his swing and hang suspended head-down from the harness. All of that before 10am! I'm on a roll!!

I didn't mean to pee in anyone's kool-aid. I agree that we need to rejoice in the small victories and the large ones. Sometimes, just even getting through the next 15 minutes and continuing to breathe is a victory. Showering when you have twinfants is a victory! So is getting dressed (I know we've all spent many days being smelly and in our pj's). Eating even one regular meal a day is a victory. You're all victorious and I love reading about the things we are celebrating - and being reminded to celebrate!
I made it to work on time and all 3 girls got to their locations on time. And my twins are 3 weeks shy of getting 100% BM!!!!!!!!!!
I got out of the house with my four oldest kids while my DH watched the twins. AHHH, to be able to go somewhere and not think about a schedule.
i am having an AWESOME day today! here's what's been good: the girls slept till 7am they didn't fight me on eating today we FINALLY picked up our Christmas photo from our photographer (and it's gorgeous!) we took the girls to BRU & picked up tons of fun stuff (including booster seats & safety proofing gizmos) it's FINALLY spring here!!!!!!!!! (knock on wood) we went for a great walk AND the girls didn't take any "unauthorized" naps we're having beef stew for dinner (my favorite) DH & i are rewatching Firefly (heaven)
We survived a day of five relatives visiting (including two eager little girls who wanted to hold and help feed the babies), doing bottles on the go, a trip to the park, AND our first dinner at a restaurant, and the boys did great!
I got a shower too. Yay!!! I love these kinds of days. Ellie figured out the Playtex sippy cup finally. She had chewed threw the Nubby ones and would pour them out every where. This small victory made my day. You have no idea how sick I was of cleaning up formula. The fact that I made it through another week without losing my mind is a victory too! TGIF!
