Our Arias were even born the same year! How funny- I'm so convinced that Aria will never meet another Aria in her life- LOL!
Did she learn to spell her name at an early age so she could correct people on their pronunciation?? Everybody calls her Ariel at first!! We love her name, my husband actually picked it out. When he wante dSebastian for the boy twin- there was NO WAY I'd let him do it. "Ariel" and Sebastian? Who are we- Ursula and Triton?? I don't think so!

My girls attend gymnastics with an Aria. I think she'll be 5 this year. It's a cool name!

I know, I was like WOW when I saw your ticker! :)

Most people pronounce it like area, she corrects them and since no one knows how to say it, she spells it out for them. She says Arrrria, A-R-I-A . Our old pediatrician swears up and down that there is another Aria in our town who is older than my Aria, I'll have to see that one to believe it but in our local Multiples group, a girl was just born last year and they named her Aria. They're popping up everywhere!

Too cool, how about this... I have a niece, who is my mini me named Krystalyn .

Rubyturquoise, you don't happen to live in Texas do you? Aria is in gymnastics.

A friend of mine has a dd named Aria (pronounced just like it is written) I think it is a pretty, unusual name! Not sure how she came up with it though!

Nope, I'm in TN. The Aria we know is a real sweetie, though. She acts as big sister to the little girls who are scared to be away from mom, sharing a carpet square with them during stretches and everything.
