just curious -as it relates to being a Mommy- what are your highs and lows?

last night/morning around 4 i thought was a low bc i was so so tired and was dragging myself up the stairs for a feeding. -we have "regressed" in progress on night feedings so i was a little discouraged about it realizing we are making more not less trips up and down at night- but then one of the highs was seeing my son all bright eyed and happy to see me, kicking his little chubby legs thumper style. it really is worth it.!

Highs - playtime...giggling, jumping, smiling, "talking". [IMG]

Lows - feeding and getting close to nap time. [IMG] Today the low was having to plop both in the tub and strip them because they both had blowouts in their diapers. Gotta love the tummy bug.

Low - 30 second naps... as soon as I lay them down something wakes them up, atleast for today.
highs - smiling at me, watching them interact and sloppy kisses...

Highs - Watching them sleep, seeing the way they look at me and knowing that I am the most important person in the world to them, watching them discover the world.

Lows - Feeling sometimes like I don't know what I'm doing!

Highs: when they coo and smile at me when I walk in the room like I'm their favorite person. Feeling like I know what I'm doing. Getting smiles at 3 in the morning when I'm grunting about having to get up. Then I can't stop smiling!

Lows: Late night feedings when they are both crying. Feeling like I don't know what I'm doing. When my DH and I get stressed at the SAME time

highs: watching them hold hands when I tandem nurse. watching them watch each other. Getting those amazing "I love and adore you" smiles out of them.

lows: waking up every 10 minutes for 2 hours after putting her down for the night. the screaming when I can't get them on the boob fast enough. the fussiness when I waited too long to get them down for their nap.
