We bought the boys a high chair to start their cereal with today- and I'm trying to figure out if I should go ahead and suck it up and just buy 2 or if I can get away w/ just using one for now and feeding one at a time till they can sit upright in their FP booster?? WDYT?? They can sit upright assisted, but I think it'll be a few weeks at LEAST till they're sitting on their own-- so I know we've got awhile before we can use their booster seat. I'm just trying to minimize cost (and space) but I also realize some things, you just have to have two of. Is this one of those things?? Thanks for the wisdom ladies! :)

I fed my girls in their boppies until they were sitting very well on their own and then moved them to their boosters, around 6 months.

We have 2 highchairs, but I dont have any intention of going to boosters anytime soon.

we have 2 of the fisher price chairs that attach to a regular chair (can't rembmer the exact name!). we have used them since day 1 of solids. they have a nice over the shoulder harness and tray and recline a little, which is good when they aren't quite great sitters yet. i think you definitly need 2 chairs of some sort. mine are NOT happy if one is getting something that the other isn't!

I'm a high chair whore. We have 6. 2 portables and 4 regular highchairs. When feeding solids I feed the girls at the same time, because doing breakfast, lunch and dinner if I didn't I'd always be in front of a highchair.

I'd definitely say two - we got ours a week ago and it has made thigns much easier.

no need to get brand new; check your local craigslist. We actually got ours at a twin sale; the timing was good and we got two peg perego prima pappas for about half the cost of ONE new one!

Also, depending on what kind of table you have, you could also get those small ones that clip onto a table - taht way they are sitting at the taBLE everyone - and they look so darn cute!

I have 2 Stokke high chairs and 2 FP Healthy Care Booster seats for travelling. Love all of them.

Definitely two so you can feed them at the same time. We bypassed regular high chairs and did 2 of the Healthy Care booster seats by Fisher-Price. They take up a lot less room, my oldest DD used it from 6 months and still uses it occasionally now at 3.
