We need to get some high chairs for our girls and I was just wondering if anyone has any that they would really recommend. What do you like about them, etc.? We got rid of the one that we had for our first daughter...it was really cheaply made and the tray was hard to get on and off.

    Thanks for your help!

these are the ones we got. we started using them when the girls were 4 months old (it's how i fed them their bottles until they were about 8 months old) and we still use them to this day for every single meal. i absolutely love them!!! here's the link so you can check it out. also there is one similar but with the rainforest theme (though i didn't see if it comes with ALL the same things).

my one strong suggestion would be to avoid any highchair that is made of a cotton type material. The vinyl (sp?) kind is the best for clean up and you WILL be cleaning them often so the plasticy kinds are going to be A LOT easier to deal with.

We have the Eddie Bauer 2 level wood booster and I love them. They attach right to a normal dining room chair. A drawback is that it doesn't recline but I fed my girls in their bouncy seats for a long time, so it didn't matter to me.

Here are my girls in the chairs when we first started using them at 5 months. View attachment 1100

And by the way - I LOOOOOVE your avatar!!

We have two of these and even though we've only been using them for a month and a half I love them!!

Here is what I love about them:

    1. The cover comes off and is machine washable. I know someone else said they were looking for a vinyl cover, but I was looking for cloth that could go thru the wash. That is so convenient for me.
    2. The top part of the tray comes off and goes thru the dishwasher.
    3. Attached toy!!! My girls are chewing EVERYTHING! and the toy is great to chew on, can go thru the dishwasher and its attached so I don't have to play 'fetch' while feeding them.
    4. Reclines and the height adjusts as well. Also it has locking wheels.
    5. Folds up for storage (but I don't really store them anymore since they are used every day now).

One comment is they were pretty difficult to put together. DH did one and I did the other and it took about an hour to put them together.. mostly because the instructions were pretty useless. GL! -Leighann

We have two Peg Perego Prima Pappa high chairs. I love them, they tip back so that Liam can feed himself his bottle, they wash easily and they fold up if necessary. I bought them second hand from another twin mom.

We used the One Step Ahead feeding seats. They strap on a chair and fit under the table and have a tray and recline and don't take a lot of room!! HIGHLY recommend them!
