so my dh's grandma wants to get the girls something "special" from her and since I already bought a double stroller (that was her suggestions of what to get us) I thought it would be helpful to have her help out with the high chairs... actually I've been thinking that I'd rather just get the booster seats that sit up to the table to help with space. I went out and did some "research" and thought I'd like the First Years Newborn to Toddler Reclining Feeding Seat but was wondering if any of you have experience with this one or which ones you've used and love... thanks!

just FYI - here's a link to the chair I'm thinking about....

I have that seat. I don't really like it for 2 reasons, 1. it doesn't fit under my table when it is on the chair and 2. I found it hard to change the seat postions (ended up breaking the second one because of this). I went out and bought the FP space saver. I like the seat better, much easier to move but that also doesn't fit under the table. I can't win...

I started out with something similar, but as the girls got older and more wiggly I felt they would be safer in a regular highchair. It also didn't help that the kitchen chairs our boosters were strapped too weren't the sturdiest and 2 highchairs were cheaper then 4 new kitchen chairs! Plus, we live in Florida so it was nice to have highchairs that were lightweight so we could easily take them outside.

I did like the boosters while we had them, but now I love the highchairs we now have so this probably didn't help you much! :)

We have these Fisher Price Space Saver high chairs, and I LOVE them!! I have no complaints what so ever. I have no experience with a full size high chair to compare it to though, but these have worked great for us.

We have high chairs, and booster seats. The boosters were mainly for at Grandma & Grandpa's house, but we are using them both places now.

When our girls were smaller, I liked the high chairs better. But the high chairs were too tall to fit at/under our kitchen table like a regular seat would. We've recently switched to the boosters so that they can pull all the way up to the table and feel more like big kids.

Both the high chairs and the booster seats are great for different occasions.

I have two highchairs that were gifts and we use those at home. But we bought the FP Healthy Care Boosters to take with us places and I love it. If we didn't have highchairs at home, I'd use these.

I have the Stokke chairs and I have FP boosters for travelling, etc. Love them all! The Stokke's are expensive but they'll last for ever and resale value is good. I have so many friends and their 4, 5, 6+ yo are still using them!
