high bp question

does anyone know at what point you have to go in to l & d?
my bp is 135/97, have a head ache & extremely tired but nothing else,
i think i remember them saying over 100 for an hour but dont remember 100%

I would call and find out for sure. I had pre-eclampsia. I think one of the warning signs, along with blurred vision - seeing spots, was a headache. It could also be just a normal hormonal pregnancy thing or maybe you need more water. But the BP sounds a little high to me. I would definitely call for peace of mind.

 

Between the headache and the high BP, I would go ahead and call. And yeah, do make sure you're well hydrated.

 

The rule my OB gave me was a bp with a bottom number over 100 OR a high bp with a headache that did not go away within an hour after taking Tylenol.

i havent fit 100 and the head ache is gone. not sure how long it took i had a nap

 

Another thing to keep in mind is what your blood pressure is normally. If you normally run low I wouldn't wait for it to hit 100. It sounds good that your headache went away though.
