Hi Everyone, I had posted on the Expecting Forum for awhile, but once I was admitted to the Hospital I stopped, and now my babies are here, and are almost 6 weeks old. I've been so busy! Hailey was born first on 1/11/08 at 11:40 am, she weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces. Brooke was born second at 11:42 am, she weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces. Neither one had any NICU time, they were delivered via C-section due to the fact they were both breech. I had a lot of trouble with pre-eclampsia, and I am still on blood pressure meds, but hoping to be able to stop them at my 6 week appointment. I am exclusively breastfeeding the two of them, and we are all just having a great time. I just wanted to introduce myself here. Also if there are any other new twin mommies in the North Denver Metro area, that would like to get together, PM me. Twin Muffin

Welcome to FY and congrats on your new babes. I hope you will find this forum as helpful as I did for the First Year!!! I too, had pre-e and had to be on meds and I was able to stop them at 8 weeks so I am sure you are well on your way to getting off them. On a side note, there is a forum for gatherings under the Twinstuff Parents Club so you might be able to see if there is anything happening in your area. I lived in Highlands Ranch for 4 years and we are still hoping to get back someday to wonderful CO. Congrats again!!
