Hello everyone. I'm new here. I couldn't find a specific introduction topic, so I hope posting here is ok! My name is Jamie, my husband is Jerry. We live here in San Diego. I have a little boy and a little girl. They are 3 and 18 months. My husband and I found out we were expecting in December. It was supposed to be our last ONE. Surprise surprise! I got extremely sick, I couldn't hold anything down and finally went to the ER after I passed out. Well, they wanted to check the "baby" and we were told " Congratulations, there are two sacs. That means you're expecting two babies. Twins." We were shocked!!! I still am a little shocked to tell you the truth. I feel like I'm going to be a "new mom" all over again. I don't even know where to start... I'm 10 weeks right now. I feel so many emotions. Excitement, worry, happiness, confusion. It's also been difficult because my husband is in the US Navy and just deployed! Anyways, thats us. Like I said, I don't know where to start, figured here would be a good place. Thank you!!!! I look forward to meeting you all

Welcome to twinstuff and congrats on the surprise twins!! We were trying for our last "one" as well!! Except we had to do fertility treatments and knew twins (or triplets even) was a possibility!
Congrats on your new additions!!! It sounds like you are going to have a full house!! I am also a navy wife. We found out we were expecting right before he deployed and I had to call him and tell him I was pg with twins!!! LOL- He was sure I was kidding when I told him it was twins. He is scheduled to be home in two weeks!! When does your Dh get home?? I hope he can return in time for their birth! I am here if you need anything!!! Nicole

:welcome: to TS! Isn't it funny how God decides things. We were trying for just ONE more for our little guy to have a playmate and surprise TWINS for us as well! Glad you found the site, take care and enjoy the twin pregnancy...it truly is a whole new experience!
