Hi, I'm new here

Hello, I'm new here.
I just had twin boys on the 12th of August, and I found this website and thought it might be nice to connect with other moms of twins.
My boys names are Dustin and Dylan, and I have 2 other children: Danielle who will be 3 tomorrow and Derek who is 18 months... got my hands full.
Hope to meet and talk to some moms because this is really challenging and I could probably use some advice at some point (like when do you sleep? lol)

 

Welcome! :welcome: WOW - you do have your hands full!! I can't imagine having twins with the two older ones, too. I hope you have some help.

As for the when do you sleep, I'm still waiting - lol. Our guys are cutting all four top teeth at once, so none of us are sleeping much the last two weeks!! The big guys finally has two through, so hopefully we are getting close to being through that and can get some more sleep.

Twins are definitely hard, but we all manage and make it through. It definitely makes a difference if you have help, whether family, friends, or hired, but either way, you can make it! My mother in law had my husband and then less than a year later (352 days), had his twin sisters - she did it basically all by herself while their dad worked. :youcandoit:

Welcome!! I had my first three with those age gaps - and thanked the Lord that He waited to give me my twins til my 3rd was 4yrs old!!

As for sleep - I co-slept and that's the only way I got any quality sleep - its how I survived having had the first 3 in 3yrs also, so I learned the 'hard way'! LOL

I can't imagine having 2 slightly older ones with the newborn twins...you do have your hands full!
