Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself!

Hi everyone. I am so excited that I came across this site. I was doing a search on di/di twins and that's how I found it.

My husband and I have 1 daughter who will be 2 on Tuesday and I am almost 22 weeks pregnant with di/di twin boys. We're planning to name them Conner Patrick and Keegan Charles. My daughter is Delaney Grace. We have a super Irish last name, so we went with Irish first names for all the kids.

We're still a bit overwhelmed about it and all the changes that are going to come with them, but we're really excited! My youngest sister has idential twin boys, so my family is super excited to have another set. Since we found out we're having two boys I've been wondering about the possibility of them being identical. I know there's a chance, so we'll just have to wait and see.

My doctor is already talking about taking me out of work early. I think they'll have me out by 28 weeks or so. I sit for a decent portion of the day, but between work and my 2 year old when I get home I'm not getting the rest that I should.

I look forward to reading all the informative posts on here and figuring out how to set up my signature!

Congratulations on your twins and welcome to twinstuff! It's a great place for info and support! My sisters twins were also di/di with the same blood type so she was told there was a 25-30% chance of them being identical. She had them tested on their first birthday and they are in fact identical. That's pretty cool that your sister has twins, too. My sister was a tremendous resource to me during my pregnancy and of course now that we're in our first year of raising twins. It's a great thing to share! Good luck with your pregnancy- get lots of rest!!
