I figured this would be the best place to ask, I am 4 weeks now, just barely pg, I never had my HCG levels discussed when I was pg with our twins. I had my last period started jan. 11, and I know i conceived on Jan. 24, and I have been getting positive HPT's since 2/2. That seems so quick compared to my other ones. Usually i would miss my period, and not know until I was 6-7 weeks. Anyways, I have a very cautious OB this time around since we lost the twins, and I am scheduled for my first HCG level blood test tomorrow, which is the one year anniversary of losing my twins. Its bittersweet, but exciting too. Anyways, my question... is there a chart somewhere that shows what the HCG levels should be for single and for multiples....I know that they are supposed to multiply quickly, but I was kinda wondering what mine should be tomorrow. It will be 15 dpo.

    anyone know?

    thanks

    Congratulations!
I remember reading your loss story last year...I am so sorry you lost your twins, just heartbreaking. I hope you have a very healthy, happy pg.
Here is what I found on hcg levels.

But do keep in mind that they can really vary per individual...the important thing is that they are doubling at the right increment...not so much what they are in one measurement. HTH

Congratultions!! My HCG level at 3 weeks 5 days was 71 I believe. I never knew what it was when I was pregnant with my twins either so when I heard the numbers I was crying Ithought there was something wrong with them. Everything was fine and I am 23 weeks now. We are glad to have you have and wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever your number is tomorrow, it should double within 48 hours. It doesn't matter what the number is, so long as it's doubling. If it's extremely high (in the mid to upper hundreds) it COULD indicate multiples, but really, everyone's numbers vary so much the only way to REALLY tell if you're having multiples is from an u/s.

    Congrats!!

At 5 weeks my HCG was 5,900 and there was no heartbeat on the u/s. By 5 days later my HCG was in the 20,000 range..it should double every 48 hours..I'm not sure of the range but I think you can find it on babycenter.com ...Good luck...keep us posted!!
