We are new here... found these forums to be very interesting and informative.

    Wondering...

    What's your opinion?

Does the time of Pregnancy with Twins seem to go by fast or slowly?

Thanks for your thoughts on this.

So far, for me it has gone by very slowly. I think that is because I've had a past twin loss, so each day is a milestone for me.

Some parts went by fast, and other slow. It went really slow for me until 20 weeks. Then it went by fast up until week 26. When i got put on bedrest things slowed down agian for a little while.

Now that I know I have only 1 more week of bedrest left things have slowed down even more. It is horrible. I can't wait to be off bedrest!

It seems it has gone slowly for me. I'm almost 26 weeks and it feels like a long road towards 32, 34, and 36 weeks.

both, it seems like so far to go until the next appt, milestone, ect but then they seem to comme up relatively quick. sometimes i feel like they will be here before i know it and sometimes it seems like they will never be here.

For me it seems like things have slowed down, the first 3 months I was always busy and nobody knew we were expecting, after we told everyone we were pregnant and then we found out it was twins at 12 weeks, everything has seemed to slow right down. It always seems like an eternity until my next appointment. But hopefully with school back in tomorrow, my other kids will keep me busy, plus I decided to continue my college degree until april, I am hoping those things will help pass the time.

In between, this board is really filling up alot of my time! I will see you here for the next 4-5 months....after that our lives will move like lightning!

I think your first pregnancy goes slower than the others...at least for me. My first pregnancy I was always waiting on that next appt to get some spec of information on my baby. This time I have another child to worry about so I am so over the multitude of dr. appts I have to go to. I have been going every two weeks since 12 weeks even though I haven't had any probelms other than just having two babies in there. Now I am going weekly. UGH. With my first I would have been so happy to go to the doctor so much, but now that I have a child to take care of (and arrange childcare for) I really hate all the appointments and feeling like "didn't I JUST do this?"

I definitely agree with Mary....the first pregnancy goes so much slower than the next one. When I was pregnant with my son I felt like he would never get here. 9 months felt like 3 years. With this pregnancy I find myself going, "I hope we get everything done in time before the babies get here!"....time is going so much faster. Not much you can do about it but wait....and wait....and wait!

I think time was rushing away and I sometimes still can´t believe in a coupple of days I´ll meet those little guys.

I had the impression that my first pregnancy was also my "longest", because I didn´t know what to expect, and I felt like a child anxiuosly awaiting christmas. [IMG]

With the other pregnancies, my elder children gave me so much distraction that I hardly thought about being pregnant and ...zack!... time was over.

Only now, those last few days, they could be a bit faster [IMG]

On one hand it seems like it's flying - really seems to be going fast now, but on the other, it seems like ages ago that I had my last margarita!!

Welcome! Both, I think. For me the first four months were brutal because I was sick ALL the time and really miserable, plus we had some scares about the health of the babies and my health.

But now - i'm almost 24 weeks, and although I know i have a lot to go, i've started to think "holy moly, only another 13 weeks or so!"

I think that like life, sometimes the days go slowly, but the chunks of time (weeks, months, years, decades) go quickly!
