Aww theres alot of people from around san diego! thats cool. I dont want to sound dumb, but what is mono-di twins or whatever? My doctor hasnt told me anything about that with my twins. Just that they have there own sac and placentas and that they are both doing good and head down lol

di/di - 2 placentas, 2 amniotics sacs. This is what your babies are. They are usually fraternal (non-identical) but some di/di's are identicals that split really early after fertilisation. Happens 1 in 60 births.
mono/di - 1 placenta, 2 amniotic sacs. This is what mine are. They are identical, because they share one placenta. However (and this is where it gets a bit tricky) sometimes with di/dis the 2 placentas fuse together and look like there is only one. Only after they are born (and sometimes a blood test) can they tell if they are identical or fraternal. Happens 1 in 200 births.
mono/monos - 1 placenta, 1 amniotic sac. These are always identical. This is the riskiest type of twin pregnancy, because as you can imagine, with 2 babies and 2 umbilcal cords in one amniotic sac things can get a bit tangled.

Hope this helps you out a little, I'm sure someone else will help you out with a few more of the proper medical words.
