Hey all! It has been a while in deed. Our girls are 1 month and 1 week old now! They are awake a lot during the day too! They have been waking me up only once per night. That is because I did give up the breast feeding. There was just too much going on here to feed every 1 to 1 1/2 hours because our house is livable now and I have been spending the sleeping time the girls give me to make our home presentable. I CAN MOVE AROUND NOW!!! :a_smil09:  WOOHOO! :yahoo: I tell you all how good it feels to be able to move again! I feel like SUPER MOM--lol. My husband says that I am going crazy with the multi-tasking skills that I have aquired since our girls were born. HMMMM I guess he can't call me lazy now huh? Good, and I told him so! lol.

Anyways our girls are growing like weeds!

    Aubrey weighed 6lbs 12 oz at birth, 19 1/4 long, 13 3/4 head
    at 3 weeks: 7lbs 11 oz, 19 1/2 long, 14 head
at her WIC appt: 9 pounds even, 19 1/2 long, and 14 1/2 head :icon_eek:

    Avarey weighed 6 pounds at birth, 19 1/4 long, 13 1/4 head
    at 3 weeks: 7 pounds 8 oz, 19 1/2 long, 14 head
    at WIC appt: 8 pounds 12 oz, 19 1/2 long, and 14 1/2 head :icon_eek:

And I have added 3 new pics to their baby site, one of which is on their ticker below. Aubrey is the top one and Avarey is the bottom one. So here is the link: http://www.babysites.com/sites/witmuch/def...=home&seq=1
you will have to select Avarey's babysite to see her pics. They will be the last 3 pics on the thumbnails. I have about 30 more pictures of each to add when I get back the disc. The lady that did ours did them for free as a shower gift!

Good luck to all of you having your prescious babies!
    Lots of love!

well i have a few secrets i guess but i don't think that they are really secrets. the first thing after getting out of the hospital i changed their eating schedual and let them eat when they wanted to eat. at first i was breast and formula feeding. (it really will depend on how you choose to feed your babies, breast or formula) I had fully intended on breast feeding but had a few things pop up that i didn't expect to happen. my house was livable but not finished 1 week after our girls were born so when we moved in there was just too much to do. i BF for 2 more weeks and tried to stick it out, but i just ended up more tired and just flat out frustrated that every time i wanted to clean or eat or sleep i had to get up and feed or pump. i told my husband what i was feeling and he said that it was again up to me since it is my body. the most memorible thing he said was this, "I'm not going to condem you for not breast feeding them. you are doing a great job, and you'll do a great job no matter what you decide to do. and what ever that is i will support you no matter what you do." and this alone changed my mind, i stopped breast feeding and pumping from then on. i felt so relieved. so with that...

i still let the girls tell me when they are hungry.....the nurses at the hospital told me to wake them up to feed them. (this consept i can understand if my girls weren't eating much or were refusing to eat for more than one feeding.) but with all of my kids this never applied...all of my kids are eaters. i knew the minute that Avarey ate 4 ounces for 2 days of feedings that she wouldn't have eating problems and she was the smallest. i have found that Aubrey would wake around 1am and then around 5 or 6am after i went stictly formula. Avarey would wake up around 30 minutes later almost as soon as i finished burping Aubrey. and i'd be back to bed within 10 minutes after Avarey went back to sleep. they eat like that about every 3 to 5 hours in the day and snack feed during the evening. about 2 ounces every 2 hours until bed then up at 1am to start over. yesterday's times look like this: 1am, 6am, 9am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm and this morning 2am, 6am, 10am, 12 pm, 3 pm. and they haven't woke up for next one yet. i just don't have the heart to force food down my kids throats and wake them up to eat. during the normal feedings they are both eating between 4 and 7 ounces. the biggest growth spurt so far was the week between their dr appt and their WIC appt. that was a 1pound 5oz and 1 pound 4 ounce gain. so that is what i am doing, but i'd really say that our girls are doing it not me.

    Lots of love!
