We've been working on our alphabet and for whatever reason Trent thinks "W" is the funniest sound ever and he randomly rattles off a few letters just to say "W" sometimes. So here he is having his breakfast and playing with and talking to the ice cube I put in his cup which he has apparently named "ice W". Where is the video camera when you need it?!

That is SO FUNNY! My girls are OBSESSED with W and have been for about 6 months. W is VERY BIG in our house! It was the first letter they learned and Natalie especially is very enamored of it. It cracks me up! I hear this a lot as we're out and about: "W, Mommy! W!!!!!" O is also very exciting, but nothing is as exciting as W.

My brother was obsessed with "W"! He was maybe 3 I think. He drew a W on the living room carpet with black magic marker, and my mom made him a little book all about W that he carried around everywhere.

Haha....I feel like I am not alone!
My son is obsessed with the letter "A". Sometimes he picks out the letter A, but for the most part, any letter or word or number is "A".
Is is also obsessed with Veggie Tales and will call anything long and narrow or round "Larry-Bob". I have even given him a fresh garden Zuccinni to hold and he was extatic - and called it Larry....and I handed him a tomato and he was thrilled to have both Larry and Bob!
I seriously need to get this kid some REAL Veggie Tales Toys!! LOL!!

I have played their Veggie Tales CD over and over and over... I am going crazy. I wake up in the middle of the night with the Hairbrush song STUCK in my head!

At my house it's X. It's been Annie's favorite letter for at least a year. She looks to find Xs and loves alphabet songs and videos with the letter X!

Yep! When Adam learned his letters last year, he immediately picked up on the fact that W is the same as an upside down M. Every time he saw a W he would turn the book or toy upside down just so he could say M. When he saw a W on TV (They Might Be Giants - Here Come the ABC's), he'd put his head on the floor as if he were about to do a head stand just so he could yell "M!".
