here we go again...

Ana has been particularly whiny today and after she woke up from her nap she was warm. Took her temp and its 101.4... I gave her tylenol and think she is feeling a bit better since she is playing right now.

When we visited DH's family in August, Ana got sick a week before and Meara got it the night before we left. We leave next Monday to go visit DH's family for t-day so DH and I expect that Meara to get whatever Ana has by next Sunday. Its so much fun to fly with infants, and even more so when they are sick and whiny and uncomfortable. Hopefully I'm wrong and Meara will get it tomorrow and they will both be over it by the time we fly out.

I feel like c*** too, but mommas don't get to be sick so I'm ignoring it. On an up-note, Ana said mamamamamama last night! Dh says it doesn't count, but I wrote it in the baby book! For the record neither have said dadadadada yet (not like its a competition or anything )

Thanks everyone. She is responding well to the tylenol so thats good. Right after I wrote the original message, Meara felt warm so I took her temp. Yup, she's got a fever too. They took super long third naps and basically woke up long enough to have some dinner, some tylenol and a bottle, and are back asleep. Hopefully their little bodies will fight this quickly... and hopefully the advil I took will help me sleep too.

 

Sorry the girls are sick. Mine were sick right before we left with ear infections and turned the corner just before we left and then on our last day today came down with runny noses and the congestion got worse on the plane. So we are sick again too. I hope they get better FAST!!

sorry, that is awful. I;m awake listening to both my girls breathe through their horribly congested noses, and we're getting on a plane to fly cross-country on friday, so i know exactly how you feel! Mine both cut their first tooth on the trip out here; my, THAT was fun!

hope you feel better as well: And, sorry, DH, but mamamama DOES count! (one of my girls started saying da da da da this week - of course DH has been out of the contry for weeks and will see them and she'll say it! (I secretly practice "say ma mamamama" a few tmes a day....
