So for those that have also had singletons, were you able to feel the difference in being pregnant with twins by movement? Was there a big difference between the singles and twins moving around in your belly? (Around 22 weeks) How do the twins move around in your belly?

    Just curious...

    Thanks!

I felt the twins much earlier than my son. And yes, the movement was way different, but I think because there were two instead of one. I think every organ in my abdomen was punched on a daily basis, not to mention my ribs felt like they would break at any moment. There's just not as much room for two, so they didn't flip and flop as much as my son once I hit about 25 weeks, it was mainly kicking and punching.

I really haven't noticed any difference in movement between this and my 2 previous singleton pregnancies. I felt them move a little bit earlier but thats it.

i am 22W1D preg and just within the last week have been feeling them move more. No hard kicks yet, just moving around in there. Baby A is more active than B so far, but i'm just happy to feel both moving each day.

I am 19 weeks and I have felt movement by both but my boy more than my girl. THey are just now starting to become more reconizable. With my singleton I felt first movement around 17 weeks. So a couple of weeks later for the twins. I expected to feel much more because there are two, but it is still early.

How can you tell which baby is moving? Is it from the doc telling you how they are positioned? If you feel you belly, can you differentiate the two bodies? I used to do that with my son and could tell exactly how he was positioned. :)

No they are both still head down and feet straight up in the air. I can only tell them apart if the are kicking there feet. If they are moving their hands or heads I can not distinguish between the two.

I am 20 weeks with my singleton, but I didn't feel this one or the twins until after 18 weeks. So far, not a big difference.

Definetly different! I felt these two much sooner and way more than my singleton's!

I can tell who is who because they have been in the same position since my 18 wk ultrasound. My ds is baby a, and he's down in my cervix (literally, his butt was wedged in there my last u/s and she had to tip me on my head to get measurements), and my dd is up transverse under my rib cage.

My ds wiggles and kicks constantly, all the time. My dd does more rolling than kicking, even now at 29 wks she'll roll, and then it causes contractions!
