Here I am...23 weeks!

Hi everyone...Here I am, 23weeks 3days. At 20 weeks my ultrasound showed my cervix to be shortening from 4cm to 2cm and even less with pressure. I'm not on strict bedrest but I do spend alot of time lying down to keep pressure off my cervix. I see my OB once a week and my Peri every 2 weeks. The whole cervix thing is pretty scary!! I was told I 'm not dialating or anything so I guess thats the good news. 36 weeks cannot come fast enough for me! By the end of the day my back is killin me and the babies feel like bowling balls in there and the heat of the summer is just too much! I hope everyone is doing well!!

 

I was never on bedrest so I can't imagine how difficult that must be but it sounds like you're doing a great job for your babies!! Good luck! I was just about 23 weeks back in July of 2007 and I remember how uncomfortable it was!! The heat was awful!! Hope you're in AC!!

I am only 13 weeks and 4 days and my cervix is already at 3.5 it's crazy. The dr already is talking bed rest and I can't imagine that this early in the games. Hang in there and keep us posted on what happens.
