Since the babies were born they have shared a pack-n-play. Well it isn’t working anymore. DS crawls all over DD and some one always ends up stuck up in a corner. They don’t sleep much which means I don’t sleep much.
Give up I am going to have DH go get the crib out of storage and put it in our room. Up until this point I have resisted simple because we don’t have the room. I will have to crawl across my bed to get to the crib but I am hoping by putting the crib up it will help with the sleeping issue. There is no way to separate them because we simple do not have the room.
Does anyone else have older twins sharing a crib? If so how does it work? Any thing that help? I am so tired right now I think I would try anything if it would work.

:hug99: Is there any way to put one in the crib and one in the pnp? My girls stopped sharing at 3 months old so I can't help much, but I just wanted to wish you some sleep-filled nights. :hug99:

We had ours in a co-sleep until 5 months then they shared a crib (much bigger) then at 8 months we seperated them into two cribs...we had too because Lulu would sit on Greta when she was crying...neat. Good luck! I bet the crib will provide enough room for two. I know the woes of space issues!

Mine stopped sharing a crib at two months. I hope you are able to find a good solution. Maybe separating them will get you some much needed sleep :hug99: .

I feel your pain. Mine are still sharing a crib at 10 months. Right now, the crib is next to my bed and so sometimes I bring one or both of them into the bed with me. If one of them can't get comfortable after nursing, he rolls onto the other (sleeping) one, waking him up. I'm sure you know how happy that makes me! DH sleeps in the guest bed in DD's room (she has a toddler bed in there). To seperate them, we'll have to take the guest bed out of DD's room, move the current crib in there, and then set up the second crib in there as well. DD is a very sound sleeper, so I think she'll be able to sleep through their crying, but... So that's why I haven't pushed the issue. I don't want to put them in there until they sleep better, but I don't think they'll sleep better until they can have their own space and learn to fall asleep on their own. Right now I nurse them to sleep b/c no way could I lay them down awake in the same crib, they'd be all over each other!!

So, I don't know if that made sense, but I wanted to commiserate!!

There are "crib dividers" that you can buy to split your crib in half. I know you can get them here:

    www.amazon.com
    www.doubleblessings.com

    Hope that helps!

We use mini cribs due to a majorly small nursery. Love them! Not sure how long they'll last (2 years, maybe?), but they're very cute and made of wood just like a larger crib. They're about the size of a pac-n-play. Otherwise, I'd explore the crib dividers like the pp suggested.

My two are still sharing a crib. I have always just left them to position themselves however they want (they won''t stay where I put them anyway) & they usually end up side by side for most of the night. They have never known any different & they sleep great & rarely ever wake up in the night. Hopefully just giving them a little extra space will solve the problem for you.
