I've finally decided we're going to paint the girls' 'toddler' room with Pooh bear yellow, it's a very creamy, pale daffodil like yellow.

I want to do purple/pink accessories and bedding, but am LOST with the bedding and don't really know what I want! The floors will be a cherry stained wood, their beds and dresser are white. I wanted to do something either princess/fairy tale (but NOT Disney princess) or butterflies/dragonflies/flowers. Only problem is I can't find bedding that coordinates, but is not an exact match (save the color, I've found exact duplicates in different colors, don't want that)

I'm also going to use Wallies stick ups for a lot of the wall decor so as not to have to paint the walls to much. We do own our house, but I am thinking resale value and don't want any colors that are not 'neutral' that can't easily be removed....

So most of the color will come from window treatments (which are alread picked out) bedding, wall stick ups and other accessories. Can anyone help me decorate??

    LOL Thanks!!

What if you did solid color bedding and then get decorative pillows with a princess or flower/butterfly theme (I've seen them at Target or JC Penney), dress up the window treatments with butterfly or flower sheers and use the wall stickers to dress up the walls in the room. That way the bedding would be a compliment to the walls and curtains but not too plain if you found decorative pillows?

You should check out the newest Pottery Barn Kids catalog. If I'm reading your post right, it would have just what you are looking for.

I just ordered a quilt for my daughters room from JCPenny, they actually have some really pretty things and are a little less expensive than some of the more popular brands.

And they have a great selection.

I agree that JcPennys has nice selection but they go out FAST with online orders. I am still going with our daughter's room "The Fairy". I found twins sheets. But I am looking for 2/side color for the quilt without too much flowers/butterflies. I am not in the hurry yet since they are still in their crib.

I am a huge FAN of Pottery Barn Kids (I keep an eye on their clearance w/accessories such as shelving/storage)

    Good Luck!
