Help with PT an almost 4 year old!

One of my girls has been PT for a while now. Her sister is another story. I've tried everything. She is so stubborn and headstrong. We went to the store to buy a potty training toy this past weekend and she knows she can't open it, til she is trained. I'll let her hold it when she sits on the potty. She's good 1st thing in the morning. She usually wakes up with a dry pull up and will sit and pee quite a bit. Then, she has no interest for the rest of the day. I've tried naked training and after a few days, I give up. She'll pee and poop on the floor and not even tell me. It's almost like, she doesn't realize she's gone. She is finally starting to take her pants off if her pull up leaks and her pants are wet. I figured that was a good sign. Sometimes, she'll do that when she has a poop too. She'll be 4 in May and I'm over changing pull ups! Any tips? Everyone keeps telling me to wait til she's ready, but I think that might not ever happen with this child!!!!

Mine are 4 in 2 weeks and still don't care either. I'd get rid of pull ups though... way too expensive and really, they're the same as diapers IMO. I'd switch to underwear instead, or just use diapers, lol.

We'll do underwear when it's nicer out...

 

Mine is still in diapers (pull-ups are too expensive) and he'll be 4 in April. He is technically poop trained which is awesome. It's just his small pees throughout the day that are preventing him from being in underwear. I feel your pain. I am trying to be patient.

 

one of mine also has an accident about once/week, and then always insists on dipes the next day. i try to just be paitent. neither is very well poop trained, which is a different story because the poopy underwear are starting to "wear" on me. i'm tried of buying new ones, lol... but i know the more we push the more they push back. at least w/mine. so, it's another lesson in patience... best of luck! we feel your pain!

You guys are making me feel much, much better, lol. Mine are the same so far, even if they pee on the potty, they ask for a diaper as soon as they have an accident...
