Help with eating cereal

Hi! We have been on oatmeal/rice cereal for a while. My son starting having rice cereal around 4.5 months (just a little... to help with reflux). My daughter started at 5 months. We recently introduced oatmeal. My son hoarfs down his food ... it seems like he would eat anything! My daughter... once in a blue moon will actively eat her cereal but usually just lets me put it in her mouth and she spits it out and gets frustrated. Any tips/tricks on feeding - much appreciated.

She might just not like the cereal. My kids won't eat it unless it is mixed with fruit. I would try that.

 

I agree with a PP, mine had to have it mixed with fruits or fruit juice, something to give it better flavor.

I thought I was the only one who ussed that!

 

The only cereal my kids will eat is the mixed cereal. Also, maybe try making it a little thinner, maybe its a texture issue.

 

My kids don't like the plain cereal, maybe she'd like something like a fruit or veggie?
