This is the second morning, in a span of five days, that our girls have taken off their diapers in the early morning and had a painting party with their poop.

Does anyone know of PJs that are escape-proof? Our girls can wriggle out of anything, take off pants, undo zippers, etc.

We need something that zips to the back to they can't reach behind and undo it - or something that is 1 piece and buttons in the back. Everything for 2 year olds seems to zipper in the front or is a pant/shirt combo.

    Thanks!

I have heard of people buying the footed zip up Pajamas a size too big and putting them on the kids backwards. I personally have never tried it, but it might be worth a shot. :pardon: I can empathize with having 2 year olds that love to strip down, but thankfully my girls are pretty good about leaving their jammies on until I tell them its OK to take them off. Good Luck!

    How about this?

This goes up to size 3T and fits over pajamas.
Also,I have used duct tape to keep the diapers on at that age.
Mine never like to play with their poop, thank goodness. I can imagine you want a solution FAST!
    Good luck!

All you need is a regular diaper or safety pin! Attached it under the top of the zipper.

I have not had the diaper removal experience (yet) but they have unzipped their pj's and tried to remove them when they were still awake.

These PJ's are expensive, but they're footless so they're easier to put on backward if necessary. Good luck!

I would use a diaper pin to keep their zippers zipped. Since it was a diaper pin it wouldn't come undone and poke them. Duct tape was also a godsend.

We did duct tape. Just took about a 6 inch piece and wrapped it around the front of the diaper to cover the tabs. We tried putting the diapers on backwards but they still got that off. The duct tape really saved us.

    I have 2 suggestions.

    Duct tape
Otherwise Carters makes jammies that snapped the shirt to the bottoms. We used them for my DD and it worked perfectly to stop her from taking her jammies/diaper off.

I just happened to pop onto twinstuff today after being gone for many months. We had the same issue. Safety pin never worked. Nor did duct tape. I have a friend suggest a backwards, inside-out sleep sack. That did wonders!!!
I bought a sleepsack from Halo. I found ours inexpensively at a homestore, LOL. We flipped them inside-out and then placed them on the twins backwards. They did manage after a couple of months getting out a couple of times. But I think it just took too much effort for them to continue to do it all the time. Halo makes a footless sleep sack that you could use for a preschoolers/toddlers. I used a regular sleep sack because it slowed them down and I could catch them more easily. Tee Hee.
I had so many poopy painting parties before I took my friends suggestion. It was a God-send!!! It seriously saved many a day of scrubbing.

The "Big Kids wearable blanket" is the one with foot holes.
