My lovely children have discovered that they can put their fingers in their mouths and make themselves vomit. WHY? Just for fun.

I think they like the sound of it. They do it A LOT! It is so gross. DD made herself while we were standing in line at the deli counter at the grocery store. I had a list of things I had to get, so I just kept on shopping. She smelled so bad, but I had to get it done.
When I try to make them stop, they think it's funny and they do it even more.

Has anyone else had this happen? How did you make it stop?

    Thanks,

    Rachel

oh no, you going to have to stop them from doing it, try telling them its naughty. distract them with other things/toys that make noise.

if kids started doing that i would freak out.

My boys went through this phase aswell and the more we told them no the more they did it so I would stop that asap. When they do it just clean them up. better if you can distract them before they do it with a toy or something just try to keep their hands busy. Ignore them best as you can and this will pass.

    Good Luck!

I second ignoring the behavior. Mine both did this and Trevor was pretty persistant about it (even making himself puke in his crib at naptime! :bad: ) If you can catch the pre-puke behavior, distract them then. If it's too late, wipe them down and pay no more attention to it. They will stop when they don't get the reaction they're after.

Welcome to the lovely stage of "toddler self induced vomiting". Lol. Mine went through it (still do it occasionally if they get bored). I found that the more of a production I made out of it, the more they did it. I tried to distract them with a toy or book. Good luck!

You are not alone! Mine do this too and I was intending to post about it some day.
I don't know how to stop it either. Right now I just say NO and then try to distract them. Usually they only do it in their high chairs after dinner.
I hate it! And it's embarrasing.
