    Hello,
I am a mom of twins girls that are three and half months old. I am currently using the snap and go with my peg perego car seats and as the babies get bigger it is getting so difficult to maneuver and it seriously is killing my back. I have the double Bob Stroller that I will use for running, doing outdoor activities etc. Do any of you have the Bob? If so at how many months did you feel comfortable placing your twins in the seats?

I am currently loving the Phil and Ted sport and Vibe stroller. I need something a little more compact and easier travel then the Bob. I called the company to see if I could use this with twins and they did say it was okay, but I have heard that it is better to use this stroller for someone who has kids of different ages because of the wt. Are any of you guys using the Phil and Ted for your twins? And what do you think about it?

As for now I love being able to snap the car seats on the snap and go but like I said it is getting so difficult to maneuver. So I am looking to get ready of the snap and go. Are any of you having this experience with the snap and go? I was thinking of getting the contour as well. I know it is heavy but they say it can fit two car seats?

Any advice would help. I am desperate!

I'm not sure i can help, but I have the Graco Quattro Tour Duo which also takes two car seats adn is not as heavy as the Contours. ti's compact but by the time the babies start to grow out of their infant car seats, they'll be able to sit comfortably in the stroller seats. The front takes up to 50 lbs, the back takes up to 40 lbs. I dont' know how the Contour stroller differs as far as weight limits are in front or back of the stroller. I like it so far. But the Contour stroller allows you to make the seats face each other, face you, or face forward. Unfortunately, you also have to remove the seats in order to fold the unit so it does tend to take up more room. The Graco DuoGlider and Quattro Tour Duo both fold without removing anything and don't take up much space.

My boys are heavy too. I'm so happy we are getting the convertable seats now. My back will be so much happier now!

I thought the Contour was very heavy. Esp. to lift into the car. I don't like the Graco either -- too bulky for me. I don't love to snap-n-go but I've put up with it. Soon my guys will be out of their car seats and I'll use my Baby Jogger Citi Mini as my everyday stroller. It doesn't take car seats though.

    Hello,
Was wondering if any of you moms are using the Phil and Ted stroller for your twins. Please let me know if you are and what you think about it! I am about to buy one and wanted to get advice from Mom's of twins. how long do you have to wait to put your babies in the seats, without carseats, at how many lbs?
    Thank you so much

We have Graco Dual Traveller and the Bob Dualie Sport Utility...we just got the Bob and our twins are 12 months old. It's very light weight to push around. I have not figured anything else out about it just yet but I have found pushing it to be much easier on me and my back!

I would recommend the Maclaren Twin Triumph SBS. It's lightweight, goes through almost any doorway and is easy to manuever. GL!

We've got a 2002 BOB Duallie and 2008 Valco Trimode Twin that we use. I'm also still using the Snap N Go @ 7 months, and I understand what you are saying about pushing/steering the thing. . . it can be heavy and requires a lot of torque-ing. I started using the BOB and Valco by 3 months. We would just use lots of blanket rolls (like they do in carseats for preemies) until the babies got large enough that we didn't need them. I did NOT take the babies jogging that early on, and actually, I'm still walking now - not running!

We started using our BOB right around 3.5 months. They were a little teeny in it, but it is SO much easier to maneuver! And it fits through most doorways, etc. so you can even use it shopping. We recently got a MacLaren Twin Techno for pure shopping trips/restaurants, but I use the BOB most. We're giving our SNG away this weekend and I am SO excited. BUH.Bye.

I have a Valco Twin Trimode (www.valcobaby.com) and love it.

We are planning on buying the bumbleride indie twin. I think its a little heavier-maybe close to the weight of the BOB-and it is fairly expensive but has a lot of good qualities as well. Its a side by side and the seats recline so the kiddos can ride in it at any age.
