Hello I am officially stuck trying to find names for our girl/boy twins. My husband is from Guatemala and I am Irish, German and native American! We would like them to have the same first letter for their first names. So far the only names we both like is Maya and Gabrielle(or Gabriella), but no boy names at all. I would appreciate any help! we would like names that sound good in Spanish and English!

    Thank You!

Hi we also needed names that worked in both languages (though I have to say Drexel is not working very well in Spanish!).

How about Gabriel for a boy?
Gabriel and Graciela (NNs could be Gabe and Grace).
Gisella or Giselle is another girls G name.

M boy names to go with Maya
Max and Maya (in Spanish the long forms of Max are often Maximo or Maximino)
    Miguel and Maya
    Mateo or Mateus and Maya
    Manuel and Maya
    Marcelo and Maya
    Mauricio or Mauro and Maya

I'll get my class lists on Monday, so I can browse them for you then.
Of these my favorites are Max and Maya, or Gabe and Grace.

I love Mateo. Mateo and Maya is cute.

Is Gia or Gianna too Italian sounding for a girl's name? You could have Gianna and Gabriel.

I would go for names that are easy for both cultures (ie grandparents) to pronounce. That way both sets of grandparents feel that you honored their culture.

    Sara and Samuel
    Gabriel or Gabriela
    Daniel or Daniela
    Martin and Maya
    Ana/Anna, Adam/Adan
    Beatriz/Beatrice and Benjamin
    Lucas and Lilian

I wouldn't think to name a girl Mateo/Matteo. It's the Italian or Spanish version of Matthew. But the I don't understand giving other male names to girls either. Madison = Matthew's son. Emerson = Emery's son. Jamison = James' Son and so on.

Yeah, I'm partial to Sebastian! It's more versatile than I originally thought.

But a neighbor of mine just named their baby boy Benjamin- his Spanish relatives call him Benito, but her family calls him Benjamin.
