I think I've decided to get a lighter double for our Disney trip. (we currently have a Combi SBS, but I hate it- no way I'm taking it on vacation, I'll hate it even more!)

Here's my thoughts on each stroller-

Joovy- LOVE the sunshades. Joel is a fair skinned redhead like me, so this is good. I've read bad things about unlocking/locking it when trying to fold and unfold. That could make things frustrating at the parks while getting on/off trams and such. I also think it looks the coolest.. but I suppose that's really not a REAL factor! :)

Chicco- It's the cheapest, and the locking/folding looks really easy. The sunshades are pretty worthless though.

Maclaren- I like that it comes with a rain cover! It's the most expensive, but I am looking on ebay too, so that might be less of a factor if I can get a good deal. The folding/locking also looks pretty easy, and the sunshades are decent. It's the lightest of the three as well. Only thing I'm having a hard time finding is it's width dimensions, I'm seeing "fits through standard doorways" but can't seem to nail down how wide it is!

What are your thoughts? I know we all hate double stroller shopping, and I know there isn't a perfect one out there, so that's why I love your advice and your opinions! :)

We have a Maclaren Twin Techno and love it. It's a bit heavy though but definately does what we need it too!

I have a Joovy Grove 2 and I love it! I also bought it because of the sun shades. This stroller is light weight and is perfect for every day errands and trips to parks. It also folds up really flat. I would definitely recommend it.

I have the Chicco C5 and love it!! I have had no problems with it, I got it when my boys were 1.5 years old and still use it now (they are almost 3.5).

I got a MacLaren Twin Rally (instead of the Techno), and it was cheaper than the Techno, and not much different, just a little more basic. I think you can't beat the quality of MacLaren. It's way better than Chicco (I have a single Chicco and quality is OK but nothing great). We travel, airports, everything so durability is important. Well worth it, but look at a cheaper version, not sure it's still called the Rally.

Looks like it's Triumph and Techno now. I'd say, go for the cheaper one ... will be worth it, but not necessarily the difference between Triumph and Techno. IMO. The Triumph is also lighter ...
