    Hi All,

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with mono/di girls. So far I am feeling well and getting by with my maternity clothes from my DS3. I think I'm good for a few more weeks, but they won't fit much longer after that. I was wearing size 18/20 before getting pregnant and am having a heck of a time finding maternity clothes that fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, honestly Maternity clothes in larger sizes are hard to find. Try Ebay, you can get some good stuff there. I was a size 14 prior to getting pregnant, and even the XL maternity doesn't fit over my large belly~ LOL.
So, I buy some XXL and some XXXL, and even bought men's t-shirts from wal-mart in sizes XXL!
Another cute style is to get those shorter cotton summer dresses in large sizes and wear them over shorts or capris, helps cover the belly!
    Good luck!

Motherhood has a pretty good selection. Before i got pg with the boys I was in an 18/20 I was very ill from being pg and lost alot of weight so I actaully just wore regular clothes the entire time and wore my jeans under my belly. With Tyler I could no longer do this b/c of the twin skin and bought my jeans at motherhood and then latge tshirts from walmart.... But I was able to find a few shirts at mother hood that were not short.

    Good luck

I was 18w before getting pregnant, too...and caved and went to Motherhood and bought 2 pair of jeans size 2x and they have lasted the whole pregnancy! I also went back for capris not long ago...

I haven't had much luck for tops, though...everything is really short so I am just wearing mostly big men's T-shirts...

Now at the "bitter end" I've added some 2x Men's sweatpants and shorts for lounging around like a beached whale :)

JC Penney online also has a decent selection of Maternity clothes in plus sizes...I was a 3X while pregnant and I still wear my old Motherhood and JCPenney t-shirts - well they're mostly painting shirts right now :)

I found that the Sears maternity t-shirts run pretty big. I got some jeans at Kohls that are still too big for me but I am sure that they will be fitting me soon!

If you go to lanebryant.com they have a maternity area.

Also, I have a nice dress (I think 26? I was able to wear it the entire pregnancy) left over if you want it. PM me your address and I'll ship it to you, free of charge!!

Target carries xxl... and Motherhood has a plus size maternity section. Oh, and Old Navy online! I was that size when I was pg with my daughter, and that was the only places I could really find anything. You can also check Ebay. If you don't mind wearing some things used.

Well, I went to stores all over and the plus sized maternity just wouldn't fit. I was an 18/20 before and I swear most places idea of plus sized maternity is still for small gals with big, big tummys.

I think the only place I actually bought any real maternity stuff that fit was at JC Penny and Ebay.

Mom saved me and bought some summer dresses from Woman Within. Just plain plus sized womens clothing. I don't have to worry about the chest size since mine really ballooned at 4 months.

Also, look for a size four bella band. I found one from www.mom4life.com and it does help me fit into a couple pairs of old shorts and jeans. Doesn't do much for support, but it does make a layered look to hide the open top of the pants.

I got some great deals at Motherhood and JCPenney. And, the Liz Lange (Target) stuff runs a little big, so you might be able find a few things there as well. I have to pairs of maternity jeans in a 1X if you'd like them. They're just sitting in my closet. Unfortunately, I got rid of the rest of my maternity clothes a few weeks ago.

Wow, I found them to be small! I couldn't wear any of the bottoms, not many of the tops, but the few that I did get were at least long.

I'm not much help, but you have my sympathy! I'm 5'7" and wear a 20, and I'm worried about how clothes are going to fit in the end. Here in Canada there is not much in the way of plus sized maternity clothes. sometimes I wish it was the 70's and muu muu's were back in style, lol :p I also have no clue what I'm going to do about underwear!

JCPenney, Lane Bryant, Motherhood Maternity (online all have good selections - I found tons of great stuff at JCPenney). Gap also has a maternity line that goes up to a 20/XXL. Their t-shirts and other stretch wear should be fine for you - and very very comfy.

Another vote here for Motherhood and Old Navy online. My favorite pieces came from Old Navy. Hated that I couldn't try them on before hand, but unlike everything I did try on in the store they actally fit really well! I bought a size up from what I thought I would wear.

And as some pp's have said there are alot of regular shirt styles right now just in plus size that worked fabulous as maternity. I only bought a handful of actual maternity shirts - and after about 34w they were all way too short, whereas some of the just plain long non-maternity shirts still fit great! I bought quite a few of them on a lark one day when I happened to be walking past Ross and needed a place to sit down. Went inside and lo and behold - WOW... :) Bought probably 8 shirts and didn't spend more than $50. Lasted my whole pregnancy.

I had good luck with both of these places too. I know it's a bit of a waste of money, but I used to order a few different styles, try them on at home, and then order more of the same style in different colors of the ones that fit.
